    Q: Do you have a kitchen?

    A: We have a sink, refrigerator, and microwave for use during your event.

    Q: Is a deposit required?

    A: Yes a deposit is required. The deposit will hold your requested date. The deposit is also refundable after your event IF the space is clean and all belongings and trash are removed. See rental agreement for deposit requirements. Rental agreement provided at time of booking.

    Q: Are tables and chairs provided?

    A: Yes! Tables and chairs are provided. You can set them up for your event needs. Two high chairs are available also. Seating for 40-45.

    Q: What type of events can be held?

    A: Any event to gather friends, family members, co-workers, etc in a covered, temperature controlled event space! Monon on Main, Monon Event Center LLC

    Q: Where did the name Monon come from?

    A: We got the name from the below Google search. Mitchell was built as a railroad town in the 1850s. Its downtown is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Mitchell was the crossroads of the Chicago, Indianapolis and Louisville Railroad (aka the Monon Railroad). Monon on Main, Monon Event Center LLC

    Q: How much parking is available?

    A: 2 spots are available at the back of the building for easy access to bring in all your event items. Your guests have all of Main Street Mitchell for parking in the front.

  • Monon on Main question and answer part 7.

    Q: How do you get the keys?

    A: You do not have to pick up keys!! I repeat no keys required! (If you prefer a key, we can accommodate 😉). The day of your event you will be given a door code. The code is good for your event and let's you in the back entrance to the building. Everyone is busy! No need to schedule a key pick up time before your event. No need to schedule a key drop off after your event.

    Q: how much does it cost to rent?

    A: $75 refundable deposit will hold your date. The rental fee for the entire day is $125.
